SUPERMOUNT 4400 SERIES

The SUPERMOUNT 4400 Series tension weighing assembly is suitable for a wide variety of low to medium vessel, hopper and tank weighing applications. This unique suspension system incorporates a clevis and rod end ball joint assembly that assures correct load alignment.

Teflon lined ball ends, nylon-insulated washers and a grounding strap connect the top and bottom clevis. This assembly isolates the load cell and protects it from stray currents.

SPECIFICATION

The best positioning of 4400 Series mount assemblies is shown above in diagram 1-3. Check rods or bumpers should be horizontally positioned to prevent swaying of tank. To prevent the load from using alternate load paths caused by check rods or bumpers, the assembly should be self-centering. Single load cell assemblies require multiple check rods or swivels to reduce errors caused by torque on the load cell. Vertical Safety rods or chains should be used in case of overload failure.
